Fat spend Tua Yee, Cloud, Sar Ku, yee Ku & wife,
Rock, Mum & me to ‘Imperial Room’.
The dishes he order is fantastic, I am very hungry, so
I eat a lot, the bill is hundred over dollars.
To Sar Ku’s house, ate the lovely rambutans, tomorrow
gonna work, so went back early.
I like Cloud, she can joke, and can eat also.
18 July 73 (Wed)
Owe Mum quite some money.
Walk to Far East Record Shop with Cloud, she bought a
record, I don’t appreciate these type of record, at 9.00 pm, the record shop is
closing, she still doesn’t want to go, the two ladies just stare at her so
fiercely, I also felt uncomfortable.
Rock said he’ll come to meet us and spend us ‘Look2’ but he didn’t turn
up. We ate ‘Look2’ & 糖水.
Back home, Rock just came home, with Fat &
Phillip, to the Park Hotel & eat crab & prawns, I am so full that I can’t
eat anymore, waste only. Fat talks of
ghost, we all frighten by him.
21 July 73 (Sat)
Learn my book-keeping for the whole afternoon, cos’
Monday is the MCC Exam. But couldn’t concentrate.
In the evening, Mum spend Cloud to ‘Chopstick’。
Rock has bought the midnight show’s ticket at Majestic
Theatre, but Cloud said she has seen the picture already, so three of us walked
to the theatre and sell it. Then took a
taxi to ‘Odeon’, full house, Rock buy black market $2.00 for 1st
class seats, the show ‘应召女郎’, not bad, actually quite
good, this picture get two prizes.
Ate ‘taugey’ then back home.
22 July 73 (Sun)
To record shop again, Rock bought two records, one is ‘Lobo’
the other is ‘Danniel Boone’ two also not bad.
Cloud doesn’t want to come out tonight, cos’ she knew
tomorrow is my exam.
I revise my lessons, but just couldn’t by heart. Is it that I play too much for these few days.
23 July 73 (Mon)
Get up early, after breakfast, with Shir took a taxi
to Yoke Choy School to sit for our MCC Exam, the paper is quite tough, but if I
have revised properly, I could have passed but now sure fail.
At night, took Cloud to Menglembu, cos’ we want her to
taste the famous 云吞，but unfortunately, the
stores didn’t do business cos’ raining, so we ate some other thing, after this
we went to Magic Bowl to have some desert, each of us ate a big glass of ice
cream.
24 July 73 (Tue)
I am off today, to Say Ma’s place, have our lunch
there, accompany Cloud to record shop then she went to buy some Ipoh’s famous
food to give to her friends.
Went back to Say Ma’s place, so warm, the sun burnt my
skin.
I wanna spend her ABJ, so to ABJ and have a piece of
cake & coffee, to record shop again, she bought the Mood record, I gave her
ten dollars ask her to give it to 力 when she arrives S’pore, I
wanna ask 力 to buy some special thing for me.
About 5.00 pm we send her & Tua Yee off at Railway
Station.
To the show ‘A sad heart sing’, the boys’ voices are
fantastic.
25 July 73 (Wed)
They all said the ‘French Boys’ Choir’ is very nice,
ask us not to miss it, I thought is ‘Vienna Boys’ Choir’, so I gave out $3.00
ask Mutthu to buy the ticket for us days ago.
At about eight, they came to fetch me. The show is at Town Hall, very dull indeed,
sang the French songs throughout the whole show.
After the show, we don’t want to wait for Tan’s father
to come, cos’ couldn’t take us all at one time.
With Shir, Mooi Gaik, & Ong we walk back, wanna have something to
eat at Pasar Malam, but raining, all stores closed. So ate ‘Taugey’, Ong spend again.
26 July 73 (Thur)
Borrow 10$ from Mum gave to Kong2, all together owe
Mum $50.
Today’s news headline said that Hong Kong’s famous
film star Bruce Lee had passed away, it was unbelievable, all of us guess what
causes him died.
38 July 73 (Sat)
Book-keeping got one week’s holiday, so I am quite
free, start to learn my piano again, Mum teaches me the song ‘FÜr Elise’.
29 July 73 (Sun)
Today I gonna finish the whole of July’s diary, cos
got no time to write everyday.
My piano improve damn fast.
力 had came back from S’pore, but said Cloud didn’t give him any money so didn’t
buy anything for me.
30 July 73 (Mon)
Toh， Tan，
Ong, Irene, Shir all came to my house, listening to records, chats, playing
piano, all our girls’ voices making so much noise.
Irene spend us ‘Taugey’ but my stomach feel not very
well, so go home I swallow two Sodamint before going to bed.
