死人Lim又开始发他妈的大神经，无端端捉我们来骂，时常头风起就是这样的。Go to hell, bloody fool! See Lay is same dammit as him.
This few days, lots of people came to play ‘Poker’.
Send one postcard to FF, thank her for buying the
curry beef for us. She is a very nice
fellas.
Bought a new issue of Movie News.
3 Mar 72 (Fri)
At lunch time, Shir went back, because she’s not
feeling well, sore throat, gotta see doctor.
See Lay stomachache, also went back and rest, so Lim and I gonna do all
the works, I start work at 12.20, still lunch time, didn’t stop till five
o’clock. Lim said tomorrow have no
samples, don’t have to come, good, Hee!
Sar Ku gave me a ticket of the Talent Time, but Shir is
sick, I can’t go by myself, so I gave it to Rock.
Grandma went to see doctor, said that her spine 脱了三节, can’t do heavy work, so we got to wash the floor every week by helping
her, poor old lady.
4 Mar 72 (Sat)
No work, but still get up early in the morning. Grandma told me to buy something, I take Boy
along, grandma bought one box of chocolate for me. I myself borrow 10 dollars from Mum, bought
one ‘西洋人的幽默’ , a book rest as a present for Boy.
A watch-strap.
In the evening, FF came, to library returning the
books.
Albert take his nephew here, very cute and lovely, but
a bit naughty.
Henry and Chin Hock phoned me, talked for such a long
time that FF can’t wait and went back.
5 Mar 72 (Sun)
No races today, went to market with Mum, Mum starts to
collect coins, so she bought quite a lot from that small store, I also bought
one commemorative medal of the city of Kuala Lumpur 1st Feb 72,
costs me 3.50, later this medal will become valuable I know.
宜 and 力 came, I hate to see their faces.
6 Mar 72 (Mon)
Long Choo (厂长in Hokkien) gave us our
salary. Gave Mum, 供会, gave ten dollars to grandma, I
myself remain fifty dollars.
Lim said we have no samples to determine for 3 days,
so we don’t have to work till Friday. Yippie!
7 Mar 72 (Tue)
Went to market with Mum.
At 12, we went
see the picture ‘Merry Wife’ (娃娃夫人), 非常好笑.
Before that, we went to 人人公司，Mum
bought me a very cute Teddy bear, Mum bought some decorative Pandas.
Sleep, sleep, sleep for the whole day long.
At night, Albert spends us to ‘Diamond Restaurant’, he
is a stingy fellow.
8 Mar 72 (Wed)
Early in the morning, Mum & I went to shopping, I
wanna buy a sweater, bought one costs 7.90.
We had our breakfast at ‘Kong Heng’, I bought a book
about coins to Mum 2.80. Wanna buy a
man’s shirt, but none of them suit me.
Grandma shifts to Sar Ku’s house and stay there
temporary, actually she needs some rest, so old and something wrong with her
spine, should rest more. She said she
wants a diary, so I rush to 人人公司and buy one for her, she
said if she died, this diary’ll give to me.
FF came, I asked her to drive me to the Golden Tailor
for I wanted to make a shirt, long sleeves one.
After that, we roam about at the book stores, I bought a book ‘我的童年’，the book is quite old, but that bloody fool didn’t less for me.
Ate one 纸包鸡，then went to sleep.
9 Mar 72 (Thur)
Went to ‘Helen’ to wash and set my hair, because they
became more and more ugly.
So warm!
Don’t have to go to work, but stay at home, worse still,
the only thing is to sleep.
Albert wants to make some new shirts, I go along with
him, I choose one for myself, and force Albert to pay for me, he is really very
stingy.
10 Mar 72 (Fri)
After work, we went to the Shell Station to buy the
painting stamps, we bought the whole piece and share together, each 50 packets
costs 4.50$. Actually the painting
stamps are very nice indeed.
At night, Shir came, for we wanted to exchange the
same one with each other, finished exchanging, I took her downstairs and offer
her hot drinks and bread.
11 Mar 72 (Sat)
Lim told us that tomorrow we have to do overtime,
because few days ago he gave us the leave wrongly.
After watching the TV for so long, I’m resting on my
bed, Shir came and ask me to go to the show, I dress up quickly, she introduced
her friend Benny to me, we went to fetch another boy name George. At George’s house we change to take George’s
car, went to several theatre, but Saturday night, sure to be full house, George
suggests to have a car ride to Kampar and take makan there, I think it’s a bit
too far and I might be dizzy, but I dare not refuse and make them feel 扫兴. On the way, I nearly fell asleep, arrived at Kampar, we walked around
the town, stopped at the Japanese garden, the stonny lane inside the garden is
very hard to walk, so George hold my hand, he acts like a gentleman, although
he is not handsome at all. They took us
to the nearby store, and ate the ordinary fish ball meehoon that Ipoh has a
lot, because all the famous things had already close down, I didn’t talk much,
because I’m not so sociable as Shir.
Went to bed immediately, because feeling a bit dizzy
and tomorrow gotta go to work.
12 Mar 72 (Sun)
Everybody is sleeping soundly except us, got to go to
work, but we don’t want to carry our tiffin container along, we like to eat
outside the factory.
The whole factory is so quiet, all the workers are
having their Sunday rest, some of them came to our Lab. The new senior cashier who took over Tua Ku’s
place came too.
At lunch time, we ate at the outside’s coffee shop,
saw Rock’s friend Yee Kong.
Tomorrow is Monday, no fun at all.
13 Mar 72 (Mon)
Unlucky day, kick down the new beaker on the floor and
broke it, Long Choo was here at that time.
The Mandarin film on TV is not bad.
14 Mar 72 (Tue)
Vincent took me to the ‘Golden Tailor’ and get my new
shirt.
Went to Sar Ku’s house to have a look at Ah Mah, also to
take Kong2 home.
Start to read 郭良蕙’s
story book ‘失落，失落，失落‘。
15 Mar 72 (Wed)
That playful Shir likes to play on street, 弄到我背上脱了两块皮，痛得要命，当冲凉的时候.
Mum called Rock to drive Albert’s car to take Kong2
back from Canning, I went too, before we go, Rock car ride around the town to
practice his driving.
