finished, Mum spend her ‘paw’, I lend her some magazines.

Made a very stylish skirt, navy blue colour with white
thread sew on it, used two and a half hour to finish the whole skirt.
19 May 72 (Fri)
Once again no work for us, I used most of my time for
dress making, bought a type of lace which cost me 1.60 per yard, used 2.80$,
but the lace which I bought wasn’t very suit the material, I wasted my money
like that, quite heartache.
Fat came back from Penang, bought me a bottle of VO5
shampoo and a lovely doll, some for Mum too.
20 May 72 (Sat)
Received 悠’s letter.
My weigh increased to 100 lbs. I was only 94 lbs. at
first, it shows that the pill is quite good.
Boy came, Mum spend him to the newly opened coffee
shop ‘三山’.
Fat spend us ‘大成’.
21 May 72 (Sun)
Get pills from Dr. Liew.
To the show’马永贞‘，they said Chan Guan Tai a
bit look like Yang, but I don’t think so.
22 May 72 (Mon)
Bought a commemorative key chain, one side is ‘President
Nixon’s visit to Peking’, the other side is China get in the ‘United Nations’,
Mum gave one to Dr. Liew, he was so glad.
Mum also bought a ‘bunny’ for me, I wear it immediately.
Rocky bought a ‘Datsun’ a type of car made by yourself
from the Lifely Book Shop, and spend us 大成。
23 May 72 (Tue)
Rocky withdraws all the money out from the bank, went
to ‘Lifely’ again, I know he wants to tackle the girl who works in it, Mum said
her name called Vancy, spend us 大成again.
24 May 72 (Wed)
Finished reading the story book ‘碧云秋梦‘，it’s a very nice love story about the old family of China.
‘Lifely’ again.
26 May 72 (Fri)
We’ve went to ‘Lifely’ for the past three days, and
now Rocky still wanted to go, since we’re not going so he don’t have the
courage to go alone.
To Memglembu, the 云吞mee
took so long to ready, so went back to have our supper in Ipoh.

Vesak day, we still have to go to work, but very few
samples, we finished at about two something, waited till 5 o’clock to get home,
very boring.
Rocky has gone to KL with Ah Choong.
28 May 72 (Sun)
Ah Mah is very sick, Sar Ku took her to the doctor,
the house is so quiet for the whole day long.
I don’t have any money left, grandma gave me 5$.
可可 came, I took her to the Cold Storage, bought a story book and something
to eat.

30 May 72 (Tue)
Mum said it’s very hard to serve Ah Mah as she’s so
sick.
I took out my hipster which I bought from Singapore
and try to make it longer, Yang and Anthony dropped by, they pass by Ipoh to
Penang， I like to spend them 清补凉, but Anthony paid for
it. They said they’ll come back tomorrow
and told us to wait for them.
31 May 72 (Wed)
Ah Mah was very ill indeed, everyone in the house was
suggested to send her to hospital, she was sent to Our Lady’s Hospital, Dr.
said she was infected by pneumonia disease, I couldn’t go to see her, because I
waited Yang & Anthony to come, that two bloody fool didn’t come at all, I’ll
scold them when they come next time.
