1 April 73 (Sun)
Early in the morning, I woke up ‘cos the baby cried so
loud, to market with Pair2, her father spend us morning tea at the restaurant.
Back home, Pair2 asked me to sleep for a while, then
take me to the hair dresser and wash my hair.
To 苏青’s place, still not in.
Pair2 is not feeling well, damn sore to stay at home
for the whole day. Her Mum took her to
Doctor’s place, I follow too, she spend me 麵线鸭.
At night, I phone Mum said that I am leaving tomorrow,
at night, 苏青phone me, she said she’ll come to see me tomorrow.
Pair2’s sister took me round Butterworth again.
2 April 73 (Mon)
Get ready, 苏青came, I asked her to take me
to Penang, she said okay, and called along her friend, her friends just like
the type of 八婆I hate. Bring along her elder
daughter 小青，cute and know how to talk very well.
To the Mandarin Hotel Shopping Arcade, Robinson,
bought two panties there, cost me almost 10$.
To Mola, bought some cosmetic.
Panda Tee Shirt at ‘Tit-Man’, used almost 40$, bought some cakes &
chocolate for 小青. 苏青wanted
to visit her friends, to 化妆师’s house, and teacher’s
house, wasted the time there. Cross the
ferry wasted us 2 hours at least, cos now is school holiday.
8.00 pm reach home, 亚健spend
us supper. Stayed at their house.
3 April 73 (Tue)
Asked Pair2 to book the taxi for me to go back to Ipoh,
亚健wanted to take me out to breakfast, but I refused, he feel like sorry
for didn’t take me out.
苏青’s baby is very lovely, she seems doesn’t care about her, wearing torn
clothes, the things all wet and didn’t cry, 很乖,
clip her finger nail clip too deep and made it breed, poor thing.
Taxi stopped half way and rest, so reached home at
about 11.30 am already. Rest for the
whole afternoon.
Wrote a thanks letter to Pair2’s parents.
To ‘Lian Seng’ with Shir and her friends Ah Cheong
& Tong.
4 April 73 (Wed)
Today is still my off day. Wasted all my leaves.
Mum went to Far East and buy some baby clothes for 苏青’s daughter.
I gave Shir a Pot Gross.
Mend my tooth, but the dentist mend the wrong tooth
for me, damnit.
At twelve, to the show ‘My dog, the thief’ with Mum.
5 April 73 (Thur)
Pair2 phoned me, said she’ll be back on Monday.
Today is 清明节, so 4 o’clock off.
眼抽筋！
6 April 73 (Fri)
Mrs. Soon has left our office and worked at Tasek’s
Perak Lock, so we wanted to give her a farewell lunch at the Station Hotel, each
of us gave out 3$, I am dead broke already, intend to 标会.
This week our book keeping got one week holiday.
7 April 73 (Sat)
After work, went to La’trix with Shir, order Roti Babi
& fried mee, wrap one Poor Boy Sandwich for Mum, used $4.00. very warm and tired, so called trishaw back,
when the trishaw reached the Hugh Low’s bridge, Bss…….. puncture already, me
and Shir laugh like mad, luckily met 三姑, took us a lift back.
To the show ‘The Poseidon Adventure’ with Mum, quite
exciting.
Hate the drunkard Fat, used to come and disturb.
Mum gave me a pair of white pants, I wore to work,
they all praise me.
Poor Toto is sick, vomit on my slippers.
8 April 73 (Sun)
Clean my table, threw all the rubbish away.
Wash my hair.
Made eggs and ham sandwiches for the Poker players.
Finished all two weeks diary.
9 April 73 (Mon)
Started to learn Advance Book Keeping, school fees
will increase to 15$ per month. Got to
buy one text book 19$.
They said this year’s MCE lots of pupils failed, so
something may happen, so on next Monday, may curfew, I hope these are all
rumours.
Used the parcel strings and start to crochet a hand
bag for myself, Irene teaches me.
11 April 73 (Wed)
Lunch hour, Shirley Lee spend me & Irene to have
our lunch at the La’trix Coffee House, I ordered a chicken A’la King, quite
nice, but very difficult to finish, cream of mushroom mixed with chicken &
mushroom cubes, together with rice.
Mum sick again.
This week is my turn to Jaga the phone, Shir waited
for me till 6.00 o’clock, phoned to 云云 in S’pore.
Received Clarence’s birthday card & letter.
12 April 73 (Thur)
Sar Ku & family came, Fish, Cotton, Boy gave me an
album as my birthday present, Sar Ku gave a Ray Coniff’s record, so thoughtful
of them still can remember my birthday.
Bought an advance book keeping costs me18$ at the
Mubarak Book Store.
Fat sold the side house gave Mum & Rock 100$ each,
so they gave me 5$, got 15$, Rock gave 5$ for my birthday & Fat 10$, so I
got 30$ can survive this month.
13 April 73 (Fri)
FF bought a 林竹君’s record for me, have
dinner at our house.
Fat spend us to Diamond Restaurant, called 铁板虾 & 钻石鸡块, I ate a lot, so at about mid-night, my stomach’s not feeling well,
swallow a Sodamint, then only can sleep well.
14 April 73 (Sat)
Phoned to Tua Yee again, after two, to Kong Heng and
have our lunch, Mum and Fat were waiting for us, after eating, to ‘Jamadas’,
Mum bought a material printed all the names of the air-lines on it & a shoe
rack for 12$. To Perak Emporium, bought
a white cloth.
At night, Sar Kim took a cake with icing to me for my
birthday.
Mrs. Wong phoned me up asked me to join them to go
& see the strip-tease show at May Flower, a wolfman & a woman were
performing, after the show have something to fill the stomach at Maxim, Ongky
& Mrs. Wong’s brother-in-law also going.
15 April 73 (Sun)
Today is my 23rd birthday, early in the
morning, Kong2 came, saw my cake, he gave me 10$, Sayma gave me 5$.
Mum cooked 糯米饭, gave to Sar Ku and so on,
I gave one plate to Shir and cakes also.
In return, she gave us a plate of Rojak.
Stayed at home and pass my birthday quietly.
