To the market with Mum.
Intend to write something, but Tua Ku came and took me
to his house, took out all his first day cover to let me observe, he had
altogether 25 albums.
可可 took out the Ang Bao which ah Mah gave her the day before she died, the
writing on it were all stick together, very sad to see it. Went back at 6.00 something.
17 July 72 (Mon)
Took half day’s leave to go to the dentist and mend my
tooth.
The Cantonese film from TV made me laugh a lot.
18 July 72 (Tue)
Shir was scolded by Ah Kam because of her carelessness
in her work, Ah Kam said if she’s not satisfied with her work she can resign,
how damn it to said such a thing.
20 July 72 (Thur)
Miss a lot of good show such as ‘Jane Eyre’, ‘The
Cowboys’ and etc.
At night, we can’t go to the show and left Kong2
behind alone.
Mum phoned and told Yee Kim to come out tonight, for
we’re going to the show ‘S.W.A.L.K.’ , told them to accompany Kong2, it was a
very nice show with Mark Lister and Jack Wild starring.
21 July 72 (Fri)
It’s a good news for us to know that from tomorrow
till Tuesday we don’t have to go to work because of repairing of the large
water tank.
I hate to see Shir’s sister to come and fetch her, so
I must go home by myself, fortunately Ah Kam & his friend are going to
town, so they give me a lift, I haven’t got into the car, that Kam starts the
engine, I nearly fell down, stupid fellow!

Make use of these few days’ holiday to go to the show,
today we went to the show ‘Love Bug’, I haven’t
laugh so much before.
Boy comes and stays here for few days.
That bloody SP came and woke me up at midnight, she
said she’d just came back from KL. We
talked for a few minutes, went back to bed couldn’t sleep, at about two,
Rocky and friends knock the door again, they came back from midnight show, I gotta get up and open the door for them.

Yesterday bought a new dress ‘smock’ costs 18$ Mum
gave me 9$ for it.

Went to market and Cold Storage with Boy.
To the show ‘水浒传’, took from the famous
Chinese Literature.
Very warm and lots of mosquitoes.
26 July 72 (Wed)
Ah Boy is so ‘bei tiao did’ with his 3$ and wants to
spend it, so I took him out, met Chiew Lien, she likes to talk all sorts of
nuisance, dead broke now.
Albert went to Penang, I told him to buy the Revlon Powder
for me.
28 July 72 (Fri)
Wear the cat suit to work, just like a clown,
everybody seems starring at me.
Rocky said Yang came, I blame him for not keeping his
promise last time.
He is so careless and left his key locked in the car,
he told me to go and get a key maker, I said it’s getting late better go
tomorrow. Took him to Tai Seng to have
dinner, he told me all the problems, Henry told me so on the phone, I only be a
good listener and don’t have any opinion.
Went to the Blue Diamond night club, Ah Choong and
Hairy cucumber made one pair, at midnight have our supper at the D.R.
Seenivasagam Park, Yang can’t get home so stay at Rock’s room
29 July 72 (Sat)
Yang came to our Lab when he passes by to Lumut. At about 5, Ah Choong and Rock came and fetch
us back.
Sar Ku gave me a ticket of the fashion show, went with
Shir, this fashion show was held at the St. John, organized by the Angela
Flair, with 84 up to date fashion, we enjoy it very much.
After the show, poor old us walked back while
everybody was by car.
Shir spends me to Eastern Coffee House, she met her
friends there, all are like sort of hooligans, hate them to join us.
30 July 72 (Sun)
Walked to the newly opened Ipoh Emporium, if compared
with those in KL or Singapore one, it’s rather lousy.
Ate something at the Malaysia Restaurant.
Mum said last night Ah Kam and his friends came, it’s
lucky that I was out last night.
